One-time Life Membership
Hunting, fishing, natural landscapes and our abundance of wildlife are treasured as cultural and economic assets in Montana. They are the aesthetic and spiritual essence of the Last Best Place that provide a unique “quality of life.”
MWF has been at the forefront of wildlife restoration, conservation, safeguarding the public ownership of America’s public lands, water and wildlife, and advocating for hunter and angler opportunities and management practices that protect and enhance Montana’s fish and wildlife since 1936.
Perhaps author and Executive Director of Orion; The Hunters Institute, Jim Posewitz has said it best, “Montana Wildlife Federation has carried the torch for the cause of wildlife and for hunting and fishing for over 70 years. Today, the Montana landscape throbs with a restored and conserved fish and wildlife abundance that now serves as a beacon to what is possible.”
MWF is seeking new, creative and innovative ideas on how to bring hunters and anglers together.
Working hand in hand, hunters and anglers make a difference in Montana. Montana wildlife and the habitats that sustain them and public opportunities to access fish and game have entered a new era. Commercialization, privatization, energy development, the refuging or harboring of wildlife and other venues threaten the future of public opportunities and our wildlife wealth.Send your ideas for how we can recruit more hunters, anglers, and conservationists to be involved with MWF as members to: Montana Wildlife Federation, PO Box 1175, Helena, MT 59624
